Hairstyle?

I have medium length brown naturally kinky/wavy hair, which i constantly straighten. the problem is, it never wants to stay straight! about half an hour after it's been styled i find it looks very messy, flat and has a few kinks. how can i keep the body and straightness?

oh and my hair isn't dry/damaged either... it is quite fine, but i have a lot of it so it still looks thick? (yes i hate my hair haha)

Hairstyle?

This sounds like you aren't using a very hot iron or are not using an iron with cermaic plates. Ceramic plates can withold high heat and heat your hair shaft from the inside out. This results in longer lasting locks. You can be getting kinks from the way you are flat ironing. You should try an iron like the Sedu Revolution. The edges of the plates are rounded so you won't get as many kinks and the plates are ceramic so you will have a longer lasting result. There is also tourmaline in the ceramic to help protect your hair and give a shiny finsh. The Revolution even comes with an instructional DVD so you can learn all the cool techniques!
