Good "water" hair styles?

I need a good hair style to weat to the pool, river, lake, beach, ect, to keep it neat and out of the way, but still cute. I have medium brown, VERY fine, VERY straight hair with lots of laryers and it is down to my collar bone. Also I cannot braid it because it is so fine and braids just don't hold. So I am open to any kind of style even braids if it is a good style that will hold for fine hair.

I have hair that's down to my collar bone with lots of layers in it, and when I go to the lake or pool I usually put my hair up in a ponytail, and then leave some of my shorter layers out. It looks cute when it's wet, and doesn't look bad if it drys a little.

try a tight bun that is as high as you put it. if you have bangs use a small clip and clip them on to the top of your head. grab your bangs and start medium way back and twist then place the clip on the twisted part. stays for hours of swimming. i do it all the time and my hair is like yours
