Thick Hair..Medium hair..How do I do a messy bun?

I have thick medium length hair. And girls at my school are wearing messy buns all the time. They seem to be way back in style. Onley I can'y do a messy bun. And I have surfed the inernet on how to do it. But I can't find anything on it. Is there a possible way to do a messy bun with my tick hair. If so can you give me step my step instructions? Please this topic is so hard to find real good answers.

it's really easy.

1. put your hair in a ponytail

2. wrap the hair that's hanging down around the base of the ponytail

3. use an elastic to hold it in place. use as many elastics as you need.

4. just muss it up a little and you're done!

gather your hair in a low pony tail and twist until its kind of thight then keep winding it toward your head and in a circle hold it in place with one hand and then use a ponytail holder to loosely hold it together by wrapping it 2-3 times if its not messy enough shake you head a little and run your hand in the opposite direction that the bun is twisted to release a few strands of hair
