I have medium length straight hair right now(it's naturally curly but I straighten it),and I always have the same hairstyles over and over.Like in a ponytail, leaving it down or putting it half up half down.Any ideas for something different?
Straight hair styles?
- Simple plaits
- 2 ponytails on both side (kindergartens or primary school girls love them tied high up but they look good on adults too, provided that you tie them low and a little loose)
- Tie a ponytail, make a hole above the hair band and insert the ponytail thru the hole
- Bun
- Tie half of your hair up first then tie the remaining ones together, you can make it into 3 or 4 layers as well
- Get a bandanna
- If you have a long fringe, take about 4 or 5 colorful hair clips and divide your fringe into 4 or 5 portions vertically. Comb them to the back and clip them together with some hair at the back depending on the size of your hair clips
These are the simple ones that I recommend. I have not straighten my hair before as I have straight hair so I'm not sure if you want to try those complicated plaits which will give a temporary curl to your hair after removing. Try observing others and have fun experimenting!

One of my favorites is to loosely put it in a bun leaving a few strands to kind of dangle down you know kind of messy. It looks nice but still says I like to have fun. I would also look through magazines while I wait to check out at the store and you can get great ideas from the celeb pic.

You can wear it down but add crimping to it or even a braid:

You can try this updo. Just make a high pony tail and tease your roots. Just some volumizing spray/moose.

I would curl it on some days. Curls are really pretty and they add a lot of volume to your hair.
Hope this helps.
