I have medium brown hair now, and I usually put fuschia red streks in it, but it fades so fast and with summer I thought platinum would be nice. I see people with really dark hair with a few white streaks, that I think looks really cool. I like funky styles. I'm open to suggestions as well. I basically look like my avatar. hey! im gonna let you in on a little secret that most people dont know....STRAIGHTENING IRONS. they work great! and better then most curling irons (if you have a slim straightening iron that is) just take a strand of hair and start curling and pulling, youll have perfect ringlets in no time! here's a video that might help:

why dont you just:

1:put a hairbandon but don't let it pull your hair back just let it sit there.

2:put your hair in a ponytail.

3:pull the hair from the ponytail into a clip.let some of the hair go back over the clip.

I am a 27-year-old Asian woman working in a fairly conservative place. My hair is very straight and fine, and I believe it is of medium thickness. I'm not too sure about my face shape, but I think it may be square. I dislike having my hair in my face (though I am thinking about getting shorter bangs), putting products in my hair, or blowdrying it.

I realize all my criteria may be hard to work with, but for those of you who are hair experts/designers, please help!

How can I pull of the skateboard hair look?

I am 13 with medium length brown hair. But when ever i try that style it makes my hair look like it's pressing down onto my head. I take a shower every day and i shampoo my head every other day using "white rain." Complete muss. Just muss it up. Use this product by "TIGI" called "Bedhead." Works great. Slightly expensive but it gives you that bed head look that most skaters have. Also use the shampoo it volumizes the hair a bit too. Makes it thicker.

Blonde will suit you, but don't go too light - look at julia roberts, she looks good with lighter hair but terrible when 'blonde' try stay within 3 shades of your natural colour.

Dark hair does tend to go orange-y when dyed, so make sure you have blonde toner and shampoo specifically for bleched blonde hair. It is a purple colour that will reduce the brassiness of your hair.

Here's a tip. I dyed my hair that one time and ugg.

I had the same hairstyle and hair color as you. It's tunred like strawberry blonde kinda blondish-orange.

U might have to dye it blonde twice or by this spray called "Sun-In" and don't dye your hair. Sun-In makes your hair as light as you want it and you can control it. It works almost instantly.

go to photobucket and type in "medium length hairstyles" or just "hairstyles" you'll get tons of results, that's what i did when i wanted to bring a picture to my hairdresser. Or, if you like a celebrities look, find a picture of their style and bring it when you get your hair cut. I personally think that layers always look good and maybe side bangs, depending on your facial structure and features. good luck! :)

A one length bob would look good. Right now bob's are starting to come back, but there are many styles to choose from. Getting a one length bob would allow you to keep your length and still be fun and stylish. Also consider a slight longer piece on one side of your face as to make it a bit asymmetrical. Good luck!

I have hair like that, and I get bored with it easily too. Do a half back, part your hair on one side, go drastic and get bangs (either to the eyebrow or sideswept), if you wear your hair straight go wavy one day, if you wear your hair curly or wavy go straight one day, buns, ponytails, side ponytails.... there's lots of things you can do with it. Just experiment until you find a style that you like but wouldn't do or wouldn't have time to do every day.

Ok here is me in a nut shell... I am in my 20's, a mom of a 3 year old, I work full-time, and go to school part-time. I love new hair styles and colors. Right now I have medium brown hair, and its it just past my shoulders. I do not have bangs, and really don't want either. I have been thinking about cutting my hair shorter (chin length). Does anyone have any suggestions that would give me a hip mommy look, but does not take a long time to do in the mornings?

p.s. I have wavy thick hair but I usually don't have trouble with volume. If that helps anyone...

What I have tried that works is White Rain Styling Gel, though I have to use a good bit to fight frizz. I also like Finesse Mousse for Curly hair. Also try Loreal Vive shampoo and conditioner in the orange bottles. I forget what it is called, but it is for frizz control also. Make sure you air dry or use a diffuser.

But I will say that you have to be very careful ironing your hair. Learn how to braid your own hair, I have and it's great. My hair is down to middle of my back. If you want you can use olive oil in your hair, it won't get so tangled. But if you braid it eventually it may flatten some. Keep growing it and it will get better with braids...

u sound like u had my problem. all i did was straightn it and then u work with it from there. u coul tie it in a low ponytail and then clip it up. and that goes really well with a pair of dangle earrings. also you could do a half ponytail and still wear the earrings.

Just use alot of cream rinse!!! My hair is super thick for a blonde, and Beautician's hate cutting my hair its so thick, but when I use hair conditioner my hair is always much thinner!! I don't think you should, because it's risky. If you don't like the way they look afterwards, they take FOREVER to grow back. It'll work if you have a large forehead and thin straight hair. you need protection before you straighten. use a serum or garner fructis sleek and shine serum. massage onto hair when hair is wet. Use a ceramic straightener. hair will be more shiny, healthy looking and silky smooth. when you cut cut in layers about 2 inches high. there are so many ways you can style when layered. highlights? us ash blonde when you highlight you will have three/four different tones. make sure hair is a little damp when straightening so hair don't dry out and get damaged

My hair is medium length, fine but full. I have unbelieveably straight hair that makes it look FLAT no matter what I do to it. get a relaxer so that it's alot easier to manage then just blow dry giving as much volume as possible to define each layer. If you've been sraightening try not to flatten because your hair is so long! you will look like a witch (no offence)

You could cut it into a sort of a bob. You know, have you seen Rihanna's hair lately? I know that sounds really stupid because you want to have an emo cut, but the way she cut it is very similar. With blonde hair, you could take one streak of brown and put it in the bangs and it would look totally awesome. My hair was like that for a while, and my hair was always at medium length.

Um im very tan :) but i think maybe get a side fringe and thin out your hair (unless its really thin already) and get short layers from the top and then maybe for the colour try dark brown... i dont think u should go for blonde... but yeah thats it.

And anyway, beauty is in the eye of the beholder....for instance, lots of people here seem to like the style in the picture, but I really really don't. No offence, it's just personal taste. I like guys with dark brown, unstyled, a bit curly/wavey hair. Kinda Joaquin Phoenix-esque. Add a bit of stubble and my god do I melt. :P

Also try to get white blonde streaks based on dark brown hair... Brings out the extension! Oh also to get that rough style in you might want to Apply the moose then dry off with a lint free towel only difference is that you dry it forward so it can shape to that style Got me?

I would go to a hair stylist and tell her/him everything you do and don't like about your hair and ask their thoughts on what they think would look best. A good stylist at a good salon realy will have a lot of training and a ton of great ideas because they learned how to do more hair cuts then we could think of on our own! The girl who does my hair does a wonderful job and my hair suits me more then it ever has in my entire life.

I think you should have it pink from your roots to say the lobes of your ears (in length) and the rest of your hair to the ends done purple, it would look well smart.

no joke. get a ton of really tiny ones put it. you'll have SUPER easy to manage hair, and they will be small, so you'll still be able to put them into different hairdos and such.

BUT, if that isn't your style, I suggest a perm. I realize your hair is curly, but sometimes a perm can help control frizz,a nd make your curls more defined and easy to manage.

I often do you wash your hair? When you wash your hair wash it thoroughly with shampoo and use very little conditioner because too much conditioner will make it look oily and that's just gross. Then you should trim it a little bit and get your hair lightened a bit with added honey highlights.

That's why I do my hair naturally curly most of the time.

I get up in the mornin wash my hair,and when it's 1/2 wet,

I'll put either mousse or gel in it,scrunch it, the 1st 15 mins, and as it drys srcunch in b-tween,and while blow drying after it gets crispy feelin,blow dry down w/ a defusser to decrease frizz,and finally spray some leave-in conditioner on it to keep the frizz down b4 you go out the door.

2. wrap the hair that's hanging down around the base of the ponytail

3. use an elastic to hold it in place. use as many elastics as you need.

4. just muss it up a little and you're done!
